Yes, I still exist. I've just been tending to my other gallery. What have I been doing? Long story short, worked at Target for 3 months, have a new job.
Anyway, this fine deer started as a quick notebook paper doodle that I thought looked cool, so I traced him onto bristol board. I didn't have any particular species in mind, but it's obvious that he's exotic. His name is Prometheus.
I dont really draw deer, or antelope. but I know this dude has a rather deer like face. them ears. puffy nifty disney ears.
I like the blazed out bg, the light in it. The jungle feel. Course I love the jungle feel. i also like tone in the form of colour rather than just black. it looks neat. somehow.
the foreground looks a tad flat. But i really like his nice smoothe colours, markings [strikes are sexy] and them shoulders.
I like these kidna creatures. o.O
hmm.. its just.. its built like a deer, but it has the exoticness of an antelope creature seen in its colours/markings and horns.
An Ibex is a mutton [mountain sheepish] creature i beleive.
An oryx is an antelope type creature. they have loong nicely recurved horns. very sexy. White with nicely flowing darker markings.
This made me think of a sable antelope, being I likes the species. Theyre mostly black. my fav.
First off, everyone here at deviantART would like to say THANK YOU!!! We have received an overwhelming amount of enthusiasm for the launch of version 6 and believe that this has been our best-received launch to date.
You might even be one hell of a profesional, but if you don't SHOW it and PROVE it, how will everyone know? These facts are important not only when you are looking for a job, but in any situation when you wish to showcase your work. I decided to share a few guidelines that might help you give the best of yourself and help you be a better profesional.
`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More

You're only young once, but you can be immature forever!
If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.
